In the aftermath of leaving my job at Holland & Hart I started to take a closer look at my motivations, and in particular about how my decision was influenced by the status of our relationship. I don’t think I even fully understand my motivations now, but I am sure there were a lot of things going on that weren’t part of my conscious narrative. So it wasn’t a “rational” decision.
