Thanks for your thoughtful comments. This post was mostly meant to be fun, but I do need to reassess spiral dynamics in light of some new ideas I have been digesting (specifically, the ideas in Henrichs book, the Secret of Our Success).

Your point about Graves’ axis of “Appearance of Existential Problems” is interesting. Can you point to an article that illustrates this?
